Receiver pack - which one

Can anyone recommend a good receiver pack, i seem to be having duration problems with my 6.6v LIFE packs, they last about 20mins.

I need a flat battery as there is no room for a hump pack in my Xray 808 receiver box

thanks for your help guys

We ran an LRP 2000mah 6v LiFe pack at NDOR last week, and it did 3x7min quali's (plus warm ups), then a 20 min practice, then a 22min bfinal followed by a 30min Afinal....all on one charge. Can't go wrong.

Not sure if they do a stick pack though.

You didn't mention what the mah was on your pack?

Cheers guys, i have 1600 life packs. I bought a 2nd pack as i thought i had a battery prob. Perhaps it is not my receiver pack.
I have been having trottle or steering issues , usually on a 2nd run without recharging, this made me think it was the battery.

The steering or throttle just loses control, i have changed rcvr, servo, but. do think i have tight wires/bent in the receiver box, perhaps they are losing voltage?

I use an LRP 2000 LiFe in my Serpent truggy. It done 1x3min warm up,3x 7 min quail's on 600 mah, so I'd say you may have a problem some where. I did have 1450 cheap LiFe from eBay, hat lasted just as well.

Having just dusted off my old mugen MBX4 I need a new RX pack. These here LiFe packs, do I need a voltage cutoff wotsit like liPo or are they like I think.. much more robust than a Lipo and will tolerate going flat once in a while? Just want to make sure so I dont set fire to my fancy 2.4GHz Futaba RX shizzle. :)

cheers
