2mm bolt thread sizes
 

Anyone know what tap i need for a 2mm allen headed Ansmann bolt, im thinking a M2 tap but not 100% sure:confused:

It's metric so m2 sounds right to me.

If it's for the normal buttonheads used throughout the car you'll need an M3 tap. M2 is too small.

yup if it takes a 2.5 or 2mm allen driver the chances are its m3, measure the bolt diameter where the thread is is its 3mm get an m3 tap/die set
