511 roll centres

Hi Guys,

Just wondered if someone could explain the handling changes moving the F+R camber links up and down with the shims has on the 511??

I have 2mm spacers under the ball studs on the hub and bulkhead all round at the moment and wondered what lowering or raising it would do to the car or when you would need to make these changes due to track conditions??

in a nutshell

lower front makes the car turn in less aggressively. I found this useful on high grip tracks as it all helps to avoid grip roll.

lower rear links I find lock the rear end down and helps the car straighten up better out of the turns.

Thanks guys for the help

i assuming you are talking about a lower outer ball stud location on the front!

and lower inner ball stud location in the rear!
