LRP motor Warranty
 

anyone know what warrant you get with this ??
ie my 6.5 rotor (bonded) has shot it basicaly and its starting to strip from the rotor .
is this covered my LRP warranty or is it a case of thorw it and buy a new one ??

If its not to bad you can run some glue around it "very" carefully which will stick the "stringy" bit back to the core. It will be fine then, ive done this to a couple of my rotors and its on the advice from Mick Cragg and the likes so im sure it good info. With regards to the waranty your best bet is to give Horizon Hobbies a call and they will be able to tell you. Although from what i rememebr they are not covered.

If the can is in pretty good condition, then you could replace the rotor with a Sintered version.

There are now 3 different versions of the sintered to choose from 12.5mm, 13mm and the original 14mm. From my understand the smaller rotor will deliver power smoother and there's less inertia braking. The reverse applies for the larger diameter rotors (more aggresive power band and stronger braking effect)

the can is fine and still in good condition so i might see about a replacement sintered as suggested, might have to go for the smaller one or calm my thumb down:woot:..
