TRF201 Front Trailing Axle

Never realised until reading rctech tonight that the 201 has offset front axles, so you can adjust how much trailing axle it has....

So, what does this adjustment do in terms of setup?

its a simple one really.
think about it ;)

Well I had been running different settings each side, just never noticed, I'm not alone though!!!

I know it changes wheelbase (and weight dist) but moving it out of kind with the upright angle impacts it to, just not sure how!?

I never noticed and now I've checked mine are set different . Shame they dont bring out some with a more agressive setting.

so when a setup sheet says +1 does mean that is on the front position?
what difference makes front or back?
thanx

Use front with 30° caster bloc and rear with 25° caster bloc, not to change the wheelbase...

Here how it works, if i understood correctly....

The front axles (BB33 - Page 10 on manual) are offset. You can position them either forward or back (F&R on Set up sheet). This can be done turning BB33 180° to give more or less trailing.

The +1 or 0 on the set up sheet, refers to the shim (C1 - Page 10 on manual) +1 if you use it or 0 if you leave it out.

That said if you use the manual set up you have F and +1.

Hope this help.

Bye
