DEX210 setup tips

Really looking forward to getting my hands on a dex210 this week
Any tips on setup from you top guys who have had the privilege of driving them already? shock oil weights, springs, pinions etc etc
I do most of my racing at stotfold so looking for high grip bumpy track conditions, but any tips would be good, will be running a 7.5t motor
Cheers guys, anyone else as excited as me? :D

Set-ups will go online on the day of release along with the full kit page...

built as per manual with 450cst shock oil wouldn't be too far off. that was good around high grip and bumpy coventry (mid-motor 4-gear)

Cheers, will have to dig out the shock oil conversion chart that Adam sent me a link to.

Was that with ball diff or gear as I'm looking at starting with the gear diff. Diff oil 1000cst?

Good work Chris. Just what I needed to know.
Hope I get my kit this week.
Who will get theirs first Mikey.
I reckon there will be a good turnout of them at TORCH. I intend using a geared diff in mine. Not really keen in swapping over once built. Please have available with the kits Mr.Durango.

I won't be running it this weekend, I'm not rushing it and got other things to do. Got upgrades to go on, and shells to send off.

Losi XXCR Kinwald for the endurance event or a TRF511 if I can be bothered.

Thats the same for me to Mikey, so will be running my B4 at the weekend. Will hopefully get the DEX210 built though, maybe get in some practice after the race too:) I am really looking forward to this build!

when I ran it, I ran the gear diff with 600cst shock oil in it, felt pretty good, even with such low cst oil on a high traction track.

I'll probably go gear diff in mine when I get one just because I like the zero maintenance nitro style diff.

Any one know if the gear diff is available when the car comes out

Have you got a link to that oil conversion chart, I have tonnes of losi oil and have rough conversion to associated oils but not Durango

Ted Maul 07-10-2011 11:30 AM

Found it, sorry!
