After much planning we are pleased to announce the dates for the much anticipated 2011/12 Euro Offroad Series. Scotty Ernst and Uwe Rheinard, the organizers behind the very successful Euro Touring Series ‘ETS’, have taken their format and formula and will be bringing it to the exciting world of Offroad. 1/10th Offroad racing in Europe is seeing tremendous growth over the past year and the EOS will embrace that growth and bring an organized racing series that will travel around Europe focusing on the fun and excitement that Offroad brings.

I take it for this you will need an EFRA licence?

No mention of BRCA in the drop down menus..

my guess practice Friday, qually sat and sun morning followed by finals. I think each racing round will have all classes, ie you do 2wd r1 and then 4wd r1 like in US. They have controlled tyres in ets, so it would make sense to have them in eos, and did at the pilot round in April.

How will the americans (assuming they come) fair on carpet at Ardent?
You'd have to assume that they will be at the sharp end of the racing, even though the US Associated drivers will probably stick to the B4.1

Really looking forward to this event!!

The EOS in Black Country Arena in Belgium is confirmed

Timetable: You can se here how it was done in Sweden at the Pilot race.
http://www.myrcm.ch/de/ets/20110401_..._WD/index.html
Friday was 2wd, Short Course, 4wd in each round.
But saturday and sunday was like 2wd and Short Course in the first half of the day and 4wd in the second part of the day, worked very well.
So you did not have to change car every 30 minutes.

We will do the same at the DHI-Cup so you can run both classes.

Sorry guys, we haven't managed to get the keys yet, so will be carpet with ramps designed by Buggy racers (Lee Martin, not touring car drivers :-). We will also use different track markings. All the feedback from the Petit event will be applied, that was our first attempt at buggies and we have learnt a lot from it. The EOS will be even better you have my humble word :-)

This is what lotussmart said in the Ireland section some weeks ago

Battle_axe 11-10-2011 06:24 PM

Yesterday we got info, that there is another important event at same weekend, what we did not know before.
Now we are in contact with some people to decide, what to do. Itīs not good to have at same weekend 2 nearly same events.

So please if you did not book hotels or anything else, wait for new informations.

If you booked anything for our EOS start, please contact me.

Because of your entryfee, thatīs no problem, we can keep it for another date or we can give it back.

Sorry for no better information, but we hope to find a good solution for everybody.

Greets Uwe

Got this email this morning :(:(

Refund?

Asked for a refund for this event about 2 weeks ago after the date change but no sign of one yet!

James.

ConceptRacing 03-11-2011 11:34 AM

Same here, sent another email last night and still waiting for a refund.

Mugenextreme 03-11-2011 01:20 PM

In the same boat lads. Not been refunded for Ardent event yet and stuck with hotel and Ferries bills which cant be refunded. Very unhappy about the whole thing.:( even tried a paypal request and nothing yet.

ConceptRacing 07-11-2011 08:16 PM

Still no refund from the organisers for this event, looks like thats my money lost then! would have thought with Scotty Earnst and Uwe Rheinhard involved there wouldnt have been a problem, shame could have been a really good event. certainly wont do this again!
