Hi All

Not had much time to do anything on this for the last couple of days (very dull work stuff:thumbdown:) but latest position I know of is we have 4 teams so far.

1. Team Useless
2. Most of the committee - forgotten name of team but basically Steve, Mike, Al, Dan, Steve Snr plus couple of others.
3. My team - Me, Jack, John Abbott, Julian, Mark Andrews, James Penson.
4. RC Lazy - As above, looking for more drivers

I believe Mike may have received another team entry but not sure.

Was hoping for a few more entries as interest seemed a lot higher when we originally suggested it. Maybe it is the format we have chosen? - we'll have to look at it for next time if that is the case.

I'll put a table up with known team and drivers when I get a chance over next day or two.

Remember closing day for entries is this Sunday (2nd Oct). I'll be at track for an hour or so on Sunday with some blank forms and see if we can put a couple more teams together.

If anyone wants to e-mail their entry to me, then PM me and I'll let you have my e-mail address.

Cheers

Rob

Would like to come down to this, not the quickest in the world 9 laps so fairly poor speed wise, but dont tend to have many reliability issues (touch wood lol) and have a spare car too if i do so not a complete waste  :p lol

I would like to come along... not had chance to sort a team out tho.. if space is spare would be good

mikeyscott 29-09-2011 07:50 PM

I am sure we can sort something out.

The other thing I want to encourage at the event is for people to mingle and of course it's an opportunity to help lesser skilled racers as a team etc.

The entry I've had:

Team Name Model Cars Reading
Chris Slevin
Kevin Brunsden
Steve Brunsden
Paul Taylor
Dave Saul
Keith Aldridge

Dean Skerratt
Ro Elmes
Phil Pullen
Neil Randel
Kristian Minter
Freddie Russle

Torch "A" Team
Rob Warren
Jack Warren
John Abbott
Julian Mallard
James Penson
Mark Andrews

Team Garage
Steve Brown
Dan Brown

Mike Scott
Al Lecomte
Steve Brown Snr

Kev Brown (TBC)

Team RC Lazy
Simon Crabb
Rob Howett

Steve Thurlbourne
Steve Tolley
Neil Percival

Team Model Cars Reading

Keith Aldridge

Jay (Westwood) and Dave (O'Brien) - you are both very welcome to join Torch "A" unless you get a better offer - just don't expect to win. PM me if interested.

Anyone else who wants to race who has not mentioned it before, I'll be at track with application forms tomorrow for an hour or two - hoping we can get at least one more team together. People are going to have to be a bit proactive and talk to other drivers though as I doubt everyone would be comfortable being put in a team of people they do not know??

Cheers

Rob
