Speedo going mad with 1258

Hi. Just plugged my new savox 1258 into my spektrum receiver, turned it all on and..... massive glitching, speedo making constant beeeeep and red led flashing and the rx green light flashing on and off!

My speedo is a cheepo 35a hobbywing ezrun. I am guessing that its too weedy to power the servo? Am i right? If so, is the only solution a new speedo?

Cheers

John

Welcome to my world john!!! simple answer is its the know spektrum "brown out" problem, I had it loads and it will only be resolved with a Spektrum Power cap.

There is NO other way around it unless you change from spektrum or add a cap.

Sorry to be a bearer of bad news but I had these issues for ages and caused many crashed and breakages with random glitching.

search for one of my earlier threads and you will see the trouble I had.

a power cap should solve your issues, they are cheap, around 7 euros if i remember correct.
