new motor
 

hi guys,

iv just blown my 13.5 lrp x12.

i run an xray t3 touring car.

i was wondering wether anyone had any views on what motor i should go for next at the minute i run a tekin rs pro.

i am unsure wether to go for the tekin redline 13.5 motor?

what are peoples thoughts and opinions.

I run an RS PRO and am about to change from x12 to redline also.

I can't recommend the Redline 10.5 highly enough.

Gear it down a bit, attach to stock spec speedo, stand back!

The brakes are what separates this motor for me though, in my TC it was literally like hitting a brick wall! I would always receive comments on how quickly my car could stop. Bizarrely, it sounds good too.

As an aside I now run the same motor, 3 years later, in my 2wd buggy and regularly beat racers in my class (at club level at least) with 6.5/7.5/8.5 turn motors.
