BJ4 shell for 2008

I posted a copy of my handy work a couple of weeks ago, some images of my new Associated B4 shell, (first paint job for 12 years!).
I did mention that I would be doing a BJ4 shell a some point!
Well, here it is!!!
Much better than the B4 shell, cleaner lines, less mistakes & better shading/control all round!!
Still not sure about these Faskolor paints though!! They seem to need along time to dry properly as they don't eat into the shell like arcrylic's do!! Does anyone else use anything better for airbrushing?

use faskolor all the time
changed over from pactra etc
try using a hair dryer to forse dry it
doesnt seem to effect it in any way
and takes less time to finish

top advice there Carl, just use a hot air gun/hair dryer to dry the paint enough to remove the sheen, and spray more. I do recomend that people give the shell a good few days at least to let the paint fully cure.

yeh as dcm said leave to at least two days before use
but i seal mine with faskote after 3 days of drying

what I do is, in my shed/outhouse I have a fan heater. I leave it on for a while before I go in and paint, just to warm the room up. Then I just leave it on pointing into a corner. When the shells are done they are lined up along the wall into the corner in front of the fan heater. That way it dries 7/8 at a time.

Bigred,DCM&Telboy thankyou all!!
I do use a hairdryer to push things along! Maybe it's just me! I seem to remember the paint went off alot quicker and was easier to work with sooner!! I have no end of trouble getting the masking tape off without lifting some areas of paint?! Just had to take my time more with this one!!

move over to liquid mask
as peter key says
hey this is the feature its a taste revolution
