Blimey. No idea who this man was, never heard of him before.

What a brilliant chap with a great vision, I expect we have him to thank almost 100% for what we have set up now. Pure genius.

I expect to have 10 mins of his time would have been magical and very insightfull and thought provoking.

What a nice unassuming man. Shame he's gone. RIP Sir :)

Thank you Mr Longshaw.

I grew up with Mr Longshaws name firmly at the forefront of the hobby i had entered circa 1987.

I allways admired his presence in the magazine articles , his pleasant manner and hes beaming smile.

Got my very first AE RC10 kit from ted  think he was the UK distributor at the time. 85 years old, looks like he lived life to the fullest and was well travelled. R.I.P ted.

Cheers Gayo, lee looked like that win took a lot out of him.

Great tribute. Shame this hobby isn't massive as I'd love to watch a full documentary on what he did. The Bernie Ecclestone of RC.

A big loss. Most of my first racing set up came from his shop 20 years or so ago

Today the hobby needs more people like Ted !

Nice Video.

I remember always seeing Ted Longshaw's shop advertising in the mags when I was a kid.
They sold all the cool motors and stuff I couldn't afford !

RIP Ted.
