Mi2 gearing
 

I have received my Mi2 today but without a pinion. I've put the 21t pinion wheel I have on it but the car is very slow.

Standard spur gear so wondering what range on pinion size should I be using?

This will depend on a number of factors...
Motor type/wind
Speedo type with/without timing
Track to be used at (Probably the best place to ask this question)

Provide a little more info and I am sure there are many people who will be prepared to help.

At present it has a brushed 21t vision modified (testing, see what falls off)
Novak elektra esc - not sure about timing
Track is carpet, lot of short runs and one big stretch

It will have a 5.5t ezrun brushless motor (or 13.5)
