When I had a Durango (it's been a while) I ran a 7.5 on 87, can't remember what pinion. I ran Ultimate oils 15k/10k I think, agfain can't really remember. Plenty of Durango people at the club that can help. I run a Tamiya 511 these days and am very happy with it. Mike |
I run 10k front & 5k rear. Gearing depends on what turn motor you run.
|
I also ran 12.5 / 7k
Just to confuse I found Losi oil thicker than Ultimate racing, so make sure you stick with one brand of oil. I never tried the thinner oils etc. It's an aggressive car so takes a bit of getting used to, I did do ok with it, but just prefered the Tamiya! |
yes i tried it a few years back but didnt get on with the truggie i had etc. i ran a truggie at clanfield.

10k front and either 5 or 7k in the rear
shocks i run 27.5 and 32.5 with losi oils hope this helps |
Pinion size
Sorry to hijack this thread but would like to know what you guys would recommend for a 6.5t (gens ace) with a 87 spur in a dex410r.
I have also ordered the hobbywing 120amp esc. What settings do you run, timing, punch etc? Cheers James |
dibble is the program wizard for the hobbywing speed controller!
i run a 23 with a 6.5 v2 speed passion and a 120 hobbywing speed controller which was programmed by Dibble |
I believe SP & HW are same software. The Orion R10 also is similar which is what I am running. Just a shame about the price of the programmer!
|
apparently the hobbywing software is better the programmer is only just over a tenner from hong kong
