Hope you get what you want for the pro x, maybe worth posting on tamiya collectors website as they collect these and you may get a good amount but yes it was rare for a reason, it was the worst 2wd ever made by Kyosho hence why it wasnt sold in the uk and hardly any in europe and the US. Looked good but thats it.

Thats whats so good about vintage rc collecting, to get the rare collectors items in this kind of condition is super hard because not many people bought them.

It doesnt have to be a great racer to be a classic, did you ever drive a sand scorcher or porsche 959 for gods sake:woot:, I know i did and they didn't set the world alight.

Good point, if anything the more rubbish it is the better price - Plus it's not like someone wants to buy it to race so makes a good shelf queen!

Good luck with the sale though, is this Wayne's Brother by any chance??

Porsche 959 now that was fun and did have one, brilliant car and didnt break as often as most tamiyas. No I reckon that advertising on the tamiya forum would be better as youd get a better price as quite a few guys have one. Memories of this car are funny and I recall bob gammon lobbing his after the aire valley nats and driving associated b2 at the worlds as the car didnt handle and the gearbox couldnt handle the power. Looked like an engineering masterpiece, just a shame it didnt go well.

Was that when the car ended up about 40 foot out in the river behind the portaloo???!!
