c4.1 side protection

does anyone who has reliable info no if the centro kit will be using a different chassis to the one that the sponsored lads have been running?
have noticed that there is no protection for the electrics or anywhere to
fasten the shell down securely as there is no return edge on the chassis.

I believe it will be released with the same chassis and there using Velcro along the edge of the chassis and the standard b4 body clip mount at the front to secure the shell.

I'd hope it comes with an undertray.

I've not felt the need for an undertray at any of the meetings Iverun the car at so far this year. As Mat said, the shell is currently secured with velco along the sides of the chassis and optionally with the B4 front body pin. After a season of racing the chassis has the odd mark but nothing compared to say an 1/8th chassis after just one meeting.

Im not 100% on what the production body will look like, but the current test body is a great fit to the chassis so not dirt really has the chance to get in.

c4.1 chassis

I personally like the 'flat bed' look of the test buggy with the carbon saddle retainer pods. It will be very nice if they do release an under tray but as Phil has mentioned, the chassis shouldn't get that slapped...should it ;).....the shell (S2 style :wub) looks a snug fit...fingers crossed it ships with the production model

Chassis protectors £3.50 for 2 at pdub racing ;0)

I'm planning to use the c4.1 only on astro, so not concerned about dirt ingress. I am more concerned about water getting in, so an undertray would be nice.
