1/10 electric racing
would any 1/10 offroad electric racers be interested in racing at Torbay Off Road Auto Club.

Hi
It would be great to have another electric track in the south west. When the new Weston club gets going there will be 4 tracks. More than enough for an excellent South West regional championship. Its been a few years since i raced rallycross at your track. The only problem i can think of is the amount of sand you had on the track surface. If this was removed i would definately race. Do you have any dates in mind? |
would be nice to get a few full heats of 1/10 going at torr

yep im all for that .... get john to sort a trial run date ...

i'd give it a go too.
In fact i was only looking at your club website on friday as i wanted somewhere to race yesterday but then realised you're a 1/8th club  if you decide to organise something for 1/10th electric post it on here for maximum exposure. |
our next 2 club meeting are on 4th & 18th september if any anybody is intertest you can practice on saturday (electric only) on sunday we will race anything nitro 1/8 buggies/truggies, electric 1/8 or 1/10 but if any body want to practice on saturday let us know.
anything to do with a series, at the moment we have nothing sort yet but can be sorted if racers are interested. thanks for your replys mark |
The only problem i can see is the track markings at torr are very hard on 1/10 at torr and some bits of the track are a little to ruff for 1/10
but not a huge problem but still a worth while plan |
Hi Jon
Thanks for your response Do you mean the ribbed hoses on certain corners, if so you could be edged with white flat plastic strips? Mark |
