Base Starting Point For Hobbywing

Hi

My son and myself are about to start off road with 4WD.

My son is running a Hobbywing Extreme Stock with a Hobbywing 10.5 in a B44

I am running a Hobbywing 1s 120a esc with a Hobbywing 8.5 in a B44.1

Both motors have no timing adjustment, so all settings by the esc.

Can anyone give me a starting point with the esc settings for both setups.

Looking for settings for medium/high grip indoors on carpet and possible outdoor on Astro.

Any help very much appreciated.

Cheers

Mark

What firmware do you have in the ESCs ... the settings vary a lot depending on what adjustments are available.

The esc's are currently in the post on the way to me so the firmware will be what ever is on a new unit.

I run the 60a V2 with 5.5T in 2wd buggy on astro and found it easier to zero everything. Turn the punch down, turn the Timing to 0. I run in Forward and brake mode only although you can have F with R if you want.

Easiest way is to run it at 0, if you want it quicker then turn up the punch and maybe advance the timing slightly. I found smaller tweaks for sensitivity were easier on the Transmitter settings.

Nice combo and good prices so cant complain
