getting michelle to look tarty
ha do you like that . :p i was wondering if anybody knows how i can create a carbon fibre look on my shell without heat shrinking to the outer body. keeping the protection of the plastic woud be nice.

Never done it myself but I believe you can use the rear side window roller blinds for cars. The mesh makes the effect look good.

Brillant play on words.
A good sprayer will be able to create that look. Pm Janos aka Nagy Designs. He runs talplow and is amazing when it comes to painting shells. |
i found some good tips on youtube. tool box drawer liner seems to get the best results . thanx
|
Post some pictures of it when finished.

tool box liner works great, maplins used to do a roll of yellow non slip material, very similar effect to carbon, i think if memory serves me correct you need to do the black first, i did it the other way round and trashed a shell

Yeah, tool box liner/anti-slip mat, there are many ways you can lay up the colours, but either way, you got to get the colour down in one coat.
