your matching shells put my old lambo shell and nissan shell to shame lol they are spottless i do need a new shell

msxmre 16-08-2011 09:54 PM

Yeah the matching shells are pretty cool. www.mgpaint.co.uk was who did them, really good painter and very reasonable. My son's got a Lee Martin copy on his TRF201 and if i get a chance i'll put it up m8.

chears mate that would be excelent give me an idea of what designs there are i think i only want something simple like all in white with a simple pink pin stripe down the centre and maybe a couple ov sponsors names just to make it look good :D

Nice to see a picture thread for the non-TRF Tamiyas!

As a Tamiya fan it is always nice to see more Tamiyas. There are two photo threads here already, but they are for 2WD and 4WD TRFs respectively.

Keep them coming - I might even post some of my lorry and tanks!

jamie 6.5t 17-08-2011 08:39 AM

If it were mine, I would be spending some time tidying up the installation of your electrics. Maybe turn your speedo Through 90 degrees and shorten some wires. And, it looks like you could do with some practice with the soldering iron.

But I've seen worse, and I'm sure you've done your best so far.

Maybe you'll have a go and post some more pics.

jamie 6.5t 17-08-2011 12:32 PM

ive cut my wires down ill post some pics latter it is well shor now lol

I don't think I said cut them so they are too short.. But it looks more tidy now, I'm sure you'll get it sorted.

Measure twice, cut once..
