Springs from the TRF201 / 501 and 511 fit, there is a few places selling them on ebay but i belive JT models just got a massive delivery a few weeks back :-

I've just set my 502X for grass track with the following
front
Associated silver springs and 35w oil

Rear
Associated green springs with 30w oil.

This setup was perfect. I got a full spring set front and rear from modelsport, about £10per set. Well worth it as you get 5 sets of spring per pack.

thanks for the replies, will contact jamie and see what he has got..
@dobber : what pinion are you using for a grass track?

cheers

I'm running a 21t pinion. Good balance of speed and acceleration.
