what motors/ escs are you running ( 2wd )

thinking of upping the power abit, iam running 9t ezrun in my mad rat at the moment and its fast but i want to keep up with the big boys lol, one thing ive had a problem with is thezrun esc fan, you have to move it off the top of the esc as its to tall to fit under the shell,

so what motor would you say 7.5t? 8.5t ?

and what escs fit in the chassis

i want to do some big meetings next year so might be agood idea if there brca legal ect

I use a Fusion Exceed 6.5 brushless setup and it fits fine under the body shell, as for the motor most people i know would go with the 7.5.

I use the speed passion stuff, either a 6.5t or 7.5t in a 2wd car. Esc wise a speed passion lpf.

The orca stuff is also good, but now the price of the lpf has been lowered to less than £100 new that would be my choice.

I have a 7.5t with the speed passion lrp speedo in my monkey. Great speedo having bought 2nd hand 7 months ago and still functions perfectly.

I actually advanced the timing having improved on my driving skills in the last 6 months just to get more top end speed on the straight with my current set up.

So depending on your driving skills, i woud go for a 6.5t together with the s.p lpf 2.0 esc.

I have a Robitronic 7.5T with a Hobbywing Extreme Stock ESC, very pleased with both.

Hobby wing 120 amp speedo and 6.5 Orion motor. Not short of speed. Upgraded gearbox internals are a must though!

/\ upgrade with what?

i dont know much about buggy classes what do they normaly govern in rules ect motor turn ? tyres? turbo escs ect as i want to get ready for next season

so 6.5t or 7.5t sounds good to me as the 9t is ok but a tad slow top end, only a tad tbh

Sounds like you use alot of power in your 2wd, for rearmotor 10.5t+60A hobbywing is totaly sweet, as you can tweak the power with timing and still have a smooth low end. For the midmotor a 8.5t as it likes a little more power with extra gear in the gearbox.

Btw hobbywing makes Spedpassion and orcan controlers so just grab a hobbywing for less the extreme stock is a 60A and fits nicely into the teamC/ansmann 2wd
