strange lag on forums
 

according to my activity monitor all 4 cores are ticking along at <5% usage and my disk activity is low also, yet the forums seem to be a bit sluggish.

When I type the words don't always appear as fast as I press the keys. Mainly in PM's.

Anyone else getting anything like that? I'm running a lot of stuff, but this is normal for me and it's never done this before.

Im getting the same as you in pm's. As I type the words there seems to be some lag.

My netbook lags like mad when near the top of the page due to all the animated adverts :cry:. Its not normally a slow machine but there's something about those banners that it really doesn't like.

now that you mention the banners mine also scrolls a bit jumpy up there, but down here it's smooth...
