Plastic or FT Carbon
Alright guys, whats the best to run suspension wise, i.e arms and shock towers. I currently have all the Ft carbon arms, shock towers. would i see much differance if i were to try the plastic arms?

Less chance of breakages with plastic, more flex, you could argue it may be less snatchy, but that is mainly from the chassis. Many of the AE boys used to used plastic wishbones, chassis, etc in the past. I guess it's still the case.

I'll try to be a little more constructive with my response to you lol!
To be honest unless your a top flight driver I'm sure you won't be able to tell the difference on track The STD kit items are just fine and have a little more flex so generate a bit more grip and are more resilliant in crash. I have heard some B44.1 owners running the FT graphite rear arms as the standard kit ones flex a bit causing the driveshaft to pop out of the diff outdrive. When you break a part just stick on a STD part as they are cheaper and should hold up to a bit more punishment As for chassis, the team tend to use the kit plastic item over the FT item HTH |
cheers for thr replys, it does have the plastic chassis. so might try some of the plastic arms when i get the centro
