1.35 is typical durango behaviour :D

the car looks to almost drift a lot around some corners. I've never driven a mid-motor 2wd. is this normal?

Hulk 05-08-2011 08:14 AM

Think the car looks to be drifting as it's in slow motion.

The track at RHR also has a lot of sand making parts of the track really slippy.

I can assure you the car drifts no more than any other mid motor car, if anything its drifts less! We had no issues generating traction over our competitors, as proved by the result!

For the first time out the car was awesome

Craig

Did you add any brass/weight for your set up?

Thanks

No weight was used on any of our cars as it wasnt needed.

The car has been designed to work without having to bolt brass all over it. A lighter car that's set up right will always be quicker than a heavy car.

Adding weight can have it's benefits occasionally, so im sure if its ever required then TD will bring someting out.

delanobe 05-08-2011 08:44 AM

That's good to hear.

What's the weight of the car with electronics etc..?

Hulk 05-08-2011 08:49 AM

No idea to be honest. First time out with the car was at the oople race where there was no weighing of cars.

Skelding did tell me but i cant remember exactly what he said it weighed.

First time on the scales for me will be at Southport National next weekend, so ill find out then.

wacattack 05-08-2011 09:49 AM

They are also looking at trying to make the car lighter too

Sorry mr Dyson,
I was marshalling your heats in 2wd. In fact you relieved me all weekend...from my marshalling duties...apart from finals, think we were in the same one. :woot:

MRD 08-08-2011 07:59 PM

 I was in my own little world that weekend.

What camera did you use?
