Hmm sorry to hijack this thread.

You spend over £450.00 on your Ansmann Madrat?!?.

This is what you wrote on your sale section:

'if im honest wanting 300 for it due to spending over 450 on the car'

WTF is that all about?.

jameswilkinson7 04-08-2011 06:06 AM

Hi Jamie.
Aluminium turn-buckles are rubish, they bend / snap as soon as you look at them.

super__dan 04-08-2011 11:48 AM

For turnbuckles titanium is the best but decent steel ones are usually good enough functionally. I agree aluminium ones are not a good idea.

jamie 6.5t 04-08-2011 04:04 PM

i am talking about a tamiya you do know

my ansmann whent i got 270 for it in the end :D im not jumping it my new car is a touring car so will aluminuim ones be satisfactory for a road car '?h

gainsy 04-08-2011 04:12 PM

Depends how often you crash it :woot:
I would upgrade them if you can :)

Naushad 04-08-2011 04:21 PM

Lunsford

If you are willing to make the investment, lunsford turnbuckles are worthwhile, they proved useful in my cougar sv when I had one!

Nas 04-08-2011 06:23 PM

Lunsford are worth the money. The may be pricey but they hold up rather well.Awesome quality.

Col 04-08-2011 06:38 PM

In the real word nothing will hold upto a "60mph" curb collision though.

Nas 04-08-2011 06:41 PM

Very true. I am surprised the car hasn't snapped in half lol.

jamie 6.5t 04-08-2011 07:48 PM
