Weird circit board between my ESC wire ..
Hay guys i am putting my novak gtx in to my new car and i need to redirect the wire but i have this weird circit board between the wire
wires going to the board are bat + motor + motor - not connected bat - capacitor does anyone have any ideas what this is and is it nessacery as its causing me problems redirecting my wire for the new car http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/b-master/ESC.jpg thanks for the help |
my novak gt7 has one:)its schottky diode module:yawn:provides longer run times, higher motor rpm, cooler esc operation, they recomend its not removed(damage to esc will occur, resulting in loss of warrenty) acording to my instruction leaflet:wtf:hope this is of help, dave.

xx4-nutter the car is a Team Losi JRXS Type R just been built (loved building it) thanks for all the help guys its very much appericated |

Just put the heatshrink back on it, shorten pr lengthen the distance between the ESC and the Schottky if you need to...but keep it on.
I think your car will probably run ok with out it, but if you need a little bit more oomph in a hurry then this large capacitor can deliver it to you quicker than your cells can. |
