Big air
Seeing as trucks is popular how does a bit of ramp building sound I was thinking of building a fold out table top that would store flat
A bit like rogs ramp and the coney green stuff Reckon a bit of big air with a decent down slope landing would be mint and save breakages Trucks love to fly and the tracks that big we could put it to one side and not run buggys over it if people were scared I no we ain't got much room but I recon we could squeeze it in if it flat packed And probly use rogs existing ramp for the take off What do ya think boys |
my truck is crap over jumps:thumbdown:

Sounds like a good idea to me :)

Bigger the better,im up for that, should have new truck in a couple of weeks

we need to speak to stu,he will have the best idea as to what the dimensions should be,if we leave it to johhny it will be 20ft high lol |
could the table top be made so cars can go under as well or to jump over another part of the track like if you had a figure of 8 and dont want to crash in the middle it would be like a bridge then track building almost has endless possibilities

yea that would be good and as for the sight of the car ive seen a table top on pic before on a different track they used like a metal grid piece between two ramp so they could see through it from the rostrum hight
|
southport tabletop is good. nice size, not too steep , and doesnt make the cars launch in the air and slam to the ground. maybe something of that size would be good?
|
i wasnt thinking to big but something you can actually JUMP and controll the car in the air a little bit instead of just blipping over would be nice
im thinking of a nice downslope on it to cushion landing more three way table top sounds ok to all fold flatable of course |
That's the beauty of a tabletop, you hit it slow and drive over. Hit it fast and you launch off the up-slope, clear the flat top and land on the down-slope. So long as you don't put it in a corner like the current one... or put gaps in the up/down slope, er like the current one...

the only problem with a cross over mate it would cause havok with the young ones |
ok tisher so we have a diversion or chicane next to the jump . or a bit of movable track so little ones cant jump it bit like mardaves and buggys at ribble. i reckon they should be should be earning there wings to.
just cos you dont wana fix ya sons car all the time ...teach him to jump instead , you can have a father son bonding session learning to jump ( cos i bet ya truck loves jumping really) and i will happily school you in big air .if you "mentor" me on the track fairs fair dude your a fast man on the ground but maybe you need some practice in the air reckon we all do . big air with a proper landing . x over, three way jump . ooooh the excitment is building |
I take it the vorza is coming out to play?
