core uac 40 fault!!
 

hi all,ive had this charger for about a month now,ive plugged it in today to charge my gear up and it dont work off the mains:mad: it will however work if i plug it into 12v supply.ive changed the fuse in the plug but still wont power up from the mains.which is rather annoying as i wanted to charge the 12v battery im using now to charge my stuff grrr.

Has this happened to anybody before or am i just unlucky,also do you think i will be able to get it changed by the shop i got it from,which was jespares?

Friend of mine had a simlar fault and Schumacher sorted it all out for him. Schumacher Customer Service is very good.

thanks for that mate,i was kinda hoping someone would say that as the schumacher factory is just up the road from my house:thumbsup:

so do you think it would be better to ring them or to ring jespares first.

Whoever you feel comfortable, never had a prob with JE or Schumacher. Personally I'd start with Schumacher as they are where JE Spares get them from. Remember they may refer you back to JE

ok mate i will ring schumacher on monday and see what they say,maybe i will be able to take it to them and they might fix it or swap it or something.
