Bugle Boy Racing 22 body

Following on from my Durango shell I thought i'd have a go at the TLR 22, came up with this thing.
The a-pillars are a little bit further forward than the original shell, so it's forward cab!

Gave it a decent roof scoop and put in some side scoops to give extra width and therefore more room for the ESC in both mid and rear motor configs. Cab is a bit wider where it meets the side pods to give a bit more room for the front saddle pack if running saddles.

Made an undertray aswell, fits pretty snug, I should have painted it so that you can see it in pics :eh?:, will do that.

Amazing! Will it be buyable soon? And how much will you charge?

Bugle 30-07-2011 04:18 PM

Yep will have a bunch ready soon, the mould is finished, havenŽt decided on an exact price yet but itŽll be similarly priced to all the other 22 shells around. IŽve also made a front wing which iŽll include too along with the rear wing, forgot to take a pic with the front wing on I will take some soon.
Hopefully iŽll have my webstore up and running by the time iŽve got some shells made.

Nice job, however I do think your 22 is sticking its tongue out at me! :o

lol, yeah thought it looked better with the body covering the whole front bulkhead. Will go nicely with those 2 piece carbon fibre shock towers but it's not too hard to slip it under the original tower either as long as you don't have the body mount there. Haven't seen anyone use the original body posts anyway!

Here's a pic with the front wing and a better pic of the undertray

My painting is that bad is it? :D
I'll see what else I can come up with, only just getting the hang of this liquid mask stuff  I usually paint everything in Cliff Lett moo colours, wouldn't look too good on a Losi!

I've got a bunch of these made now, $22 AUD for a body plus rear & front wings, or $30 with an undertray. Have extra rear wings available too. Haven't got my website running yet so just PM me. Comes with cutting lines marked for mid and rear motor, and hopefully clearly enough marked which one is which :D

Wings are $5 for a single or $8 for a pair (2 wings as one moulding)
