Do you definatley have to move the servo aswell as trim the chassis to make these shells fit or can you get away with leaving the servo where it is??
Yes you need to trim off the front corners of the chassis, the easiest way is to cut your under tray out and lay it over the chassis and mark your cut lines. Wear a mask as Carbon dust is not too good!!
The servo can stay in positon but you need a shorter link from servo to bell cranks from the B4 (ie no turnbuckle) then mount the servo horn one spline to the centre of the car and your good to go! |
Cheers!

You got a B44 again Dan?
Yep! Again! lol:blush:
Are you racing it this weekend? If so, where?
Not getting it till Friday but am at oople race this weekend doin 2wd. You shud of entered!
Yeh I know - maybe next year ;)

Got a Bulldog body from JE Spares, superfast and included a pack of sweeties!-Cut the front corner off the chassis as suggested, and the Bulldog body is marked to cut away where the servo arm pokes through-I think a 1/2" hole would suffice, don't think (yet!) that there's any need to alter/move the servo..Best of luck!
Same here Gord! Just waiting for postman to turn up now! Dont think you need to cut the hole in the body though? I think you just move the servo horn 1 notch to the left to stop it catching from what people have put?
Yes thats right about moving servo horn 1 x spline over towards centre line of car, you also will need to shorten link to bell cranks, the one from the B4 works well.
Take a look at the AE pics from the worlds and you will see what I mean |
