Geared dif for Losi 22

Has anyone got any input or heard anything about the new geared dif that TL are releasing (next month) for the 22? I used to run a geared dif in my Serpent S400 TC - It was awesome. Am hoping this will be similar...

Only place I can find it on the web is Apex - http://www.apexmodels.com/gbu0-prodshow/LOSA2954.html

Any comments more than welcome... :)

Not sure if running a geared diff in a 2WD is a good idea? I'd have thought it would make the car very punchy as there is no give in the drivetrain. It was great in the serpent, but it was a 4WD car on a high grip surface whereas this is the opposite.

However I might be talking utter rot

Maintainence wise though

Tis funny, if you look at the Durango thread, people are getting excited about fitting ball diffs to their cars. I guess its all in the spirit of experimentation.

It will become available when the RTR 22 arrives (since that is what it is from), the car is expected late August/early September, both can be found on our shop website also - www.dms-racing.com
