Racing this weekend in the midlands???
 

Having completed my first races last night I now don't want to have to wait until next Tuesday to race again so was wondering whether there is any racing on this weekend? I don't want to travel for hours and hours but anything around Birmingham, Hinckley, Coventry, Leicester, Silverstone, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Grantham, Stevenage..... Basically anywhere that is less than a two hour drive from north Northamptonshire! So what is on folks?? :thumbsup:

I think Coventry has a club meeting on this Sunday.

Do you need to be a member or is it ok to just turn up?

What do I need to know about astro in terms of tyres etc as I have only run indoors at Moto Arena so far.

What surface is Coventry?

Is it all 1/10 EP at Stotfold on Sunday? What level is the racing? I accept that as a newcomer I'm not going to win anything but I'd prefer to be against other novices so I'm not getting lapped five times and getting in people's way! What time does it run from / to?

Booking in at Stotfold starts at about 1:00pm, and meeting will probably finish for about 5:00 depending on numbers.
It's a club meeting so expect a similar mix of abilites as Motoarena.

It's Mid East 2wd BRCA Regional at Holbeach this weekend so none of the regional supporting clubs will be running their own events as we are out racing at the regional meeting :thumbsup:

Thanks again Chalkie for your help last week at MA. I really saw the benefit of it Tuesday night. After my ESC had finished frying my motor that is, making me have to buy new of both.... Ouch! :cry:

There's a meeting on at Hinckley (HRCCC) this Saturday - outdoor on grass. Booking in from 12:00 - racing starts at 13:00.
