Get the AE springs.

1. Most TRF501X drivers use them
2. Strangely enough, I found the AE a better fit. The Tamiya springs sometimes rubbed the shock house

yeah, you can get the spring kit but most of the springs will be unused. - silver and blue fronts, maybe green & silver for the rear?
I've used the 501X spring kit but they DO rub a bit more and are hard to tell apart especially when the little dot of paint has rubbed off.

Like Jimmy, I use only blue and silver fronts and most of the time silver rear. In really low grip situations, it is possible you have to use a green rear.
