the Tamiya heat resistant stuff sticks well.

Go to your nearest Ford dealer and get a couple of mirror pads. The proper Ford ones work pukka. I use these to stick all my electrics in. Handy that I can get them from work too.

i am pretty lucky that i have family that works in making PVC window frames, so we get rolls of double sided tape thats designed to hold in the windows, super strong and easy to peel off when need to

Tamiya's heat resistant is good but Novak's is much better

3M VHB (Very High Bond) works like a charm for servos and ESCs. It is easy to find on eBay.

You can buy it from Novak if you want to pay a huge premium for not having to cut it yourself or buy a sheet that will last for a very, very long time for the same price. It sticks, stays and is easy to remove in one piece when that day comes.

THANKS GUYS. That VHB is super dear and I'm not sure that i need 33m of it. I'll see if i can find a smaller roll. Cos I'm sick to the teeth of things coming unstuck.

5m roll for £5.99. Brilliant and a bargain.

Mouton 17-07-2011 09:24 PM

33 m, no wonder its expensive! I bought an A4 sized sheet of the stuff for about £10 with postage from the US. Perhaps I was lucky.

Halfords do the rubber type tape with green backing. Not that pricey either especially when u get four times more than what model shops sell for the same price.

I bought the roll of servo tape from Maplins - seems to work pretty well, been using it for the last two years and still got a load left.
