Aluminium foil for body?

Hi guys i am just wondering how does everyone apply aluminium foil to their 1/8 bodys?

I use duct tape but that weights a little to much and keeps falling off!

Thanks.

it's the real duct tape. it should work. i used to use servo tape with kitchen style aluminum foil stuck to it to make heat sheilding. stick the foil to the tape and the tape to the body. hope this helps.

I persume you are on about heatproof tape

This is what i use on my bodyshells to stop the burm from the exhaust and also to protect paint work on the shell which is caused by the car

Hi thanks for the link. Does that do the job properly? My duct tape always get burned by the exhaust.

I have used this for many years and not once has it burnt through from the exhaust probably because it is heatproof tape;you will also find it sticks really well to the bodyshells and does not come of whilst racing/bashing
