JM08 Stealth Chassis for TLR22

Yes, the rumors are true!* We have an all new chassis for the Losi 22.

Link http://www.rossmod.co.uk/product/371...ssis_for_TLR22

Specs :-

10mm shorter than original Losi chassis
Made from T6 Alloy
Black Anodized finish
25 deg front Kick-up
On testing we have found the following benefits :-

Increased rear traction
Improved turn in
Improved Agility
5 deg Added front Kick-up gives a safer and more composed steering.
If you are running the smaller than standard Losi LiPo stick pack then no additional parts or modifications are required, it's a straight fit!

If you would like to run standard saddle LiPo's, no problem! Simply dremel out the internal part of the Losi side pods and mount the LiPo sideways, one in front of the other. For this you will also need a bodyshell*with more generous proportions such as the FTW Vain or similar.

The New "JM08 Stealth Chassis" is available now from Rossmod

We have cut a small slot on the outer part on the plastic side pods, then extended the velcro straps to go round the battery.
I plan on taking a trip to B@Q to see if they do a longer Velcro strap. We might even sell them in the shop.
By the way the only extra part that you will need is 4 2mm plastic washer to fit under the servo mounts.
I'll take pictures tomorrow to show you.

I haven't seen the proline body as yet.
You keep the rear end as standard.

pics would be good, i run saddles so to see the pics would be great, sounds a good option altho a new body would be extra cost due to body then painting etc. so would bump cost up.

Extra rear end would be fantastic

O M G This car actually works

Mugenextreme 12-07-2011 10:56 PM

I see in the pics that you have the saddles side by side but it i just want the saddle pack to fit in like on the normal kit. Can they without any modification or do you need to modify the pods??

JoelMaher 12-07-2011 11:03 PM

re setups

at Oswestry national we ran 35 oil green springs front 30 oil yellow springs rear no additional weight other than the cream extreme rear weight. the car was supream.

This chassis made the 22 much harder to catch around Southports track.

JoelMaher 12-07-2011 11:04 PM

you can run the small losi battery in the normal position but we havent tested saddles in the normal position on the new chassis yet

JoelMaher 12-07-2011 11:09 PM

that would be better as then no new bodyshell would be needed

Ross mods have v2 in stock.

JoelMaher 13-07-2011 06:10 AM

MK2 IS the stealth, and is the only version available. exclusive to Rossmod.
These will not be available anywhere else

Nice looking chassis ...

I'm a little confused tho .... what's the kickup on it ? I thought the stock 22 chassis was 25 degs ? but you say you have added 5 degs and still got 25 degs ? :eh?:
