interested in how to create online booking in for club events and how you go about it or if someone can tell me or point me in the right direction of the software needed etc

If you want compatibility with BBKrc then use rcracecontrol.com from BBK. They take a small percentage from each entry booked in. Have a word with Rob through www.bbkrc.com.

Joomla has an event booking extension that you can install. I've tried it out and it can work well but you will still need to enter the details from the excel form this creates into your race software.
