JE Spares carry large associated stock levels and their delivery is fast.

liquid rc in the states used to be cheap

a few sellers on ebay too

however they will never be as fast as the uk retailers and the customer service for the online firms is usually not as good

ive had nothing but good experiences with JE and modelsport in the recent past

I can recommend Losipartshouse, cheap prices and takes around a week to arrive to the UK.

I'd advise to steer clear of alloy 'upgrade' parts in general, heavier than the standard plastic parts and in a some cases weaker - GPM stuff especially seems quite prone to bending.

Which part do you mean exactly, the standoff/bushing for the top of the shock or the alloy block that ties the topdeck to the tower?

Things like that are ok, I was thinking more along the lines of the alloy wishbones/shocktowers/gearbox cases ect. On my 44.1 I run the AE #9710 FT centre bulkhead, #9783 FT front tower mount and #9784 FT rear tower mount ;)

hey Martijn,

as a fellow Belgian I can say that ordering from any EU country should get a big preference.
Avoid ordering from USA unless there's no other way around, import tax min ALWAYS €10, and sometimes up to 50% of the value of items you bought. (bought €100 worth at amainhobbies.com, import tax €50).

from shops in EU you don't pay import tax. items arrive within the same week they are send out, items from .HK take between 1 week up to 4-5 weeks, same with items out of USA.

sending from .DE is faster than from .UK, but haven't found many good .DE based shops

UK:
JE Spares
Modelsport
Wheelspinmodels

DE:

modellbau-friedel.com

BE/FR:
www.mcmracing.com
www.wartelle-shop.com

good/excellent experience with all the above, delivery is within 7 work days, price difference compared to the US/China/HK is imho negligible if you factor in the import tax and shipping delays
