Back with the heavy weight,
Back with the heavy weight,
Back with the heavy weight...

I seen the DJ dood from the KLF do a live set once, can't remember his name now, but he did actually have his decks in an Ice Cream.

Northy 18-01-2008 12:58 PM

losixxx 18-01-2008 01:32 PM

you NEED something........straight jacket comes to mind!

Fiddybux 18-01-2008 01:32 PM

Bill Drummond I think you mean.

They burned a million squid once as a publicity stunt.

jim76 18-01-2008 01:39 PM

bet the WWF and greenpeace weren't happy about that.

Northy 18-01-2008 02:06 PM

If anyone wanted to send me any KLF, The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu or The Timelords tracks for evaluation purposes that would be pretty cool.

I'm listening to Utah Saints, Prodigy, Bizarre Inc, Shamen and Oceanic at the moment. Old Skool is proper boss.

Quality tunes, esp. prodigy. I bought some vinyl from germany that was v similar. How about h-blox and those Xl Recordings tunes. oh the memories:)

According the Never Mind the Buzzcocks last night SL2 on a ragga tip is being re-released.

The Million Pound burning stunt was to create a pice of 'art'. Unforutnatly it was valued at approx 20k after the event #ouch#

bjcaldwe 18-01-2008 05:01 PM

I swear im in the wrong country for my musical tastes lol.

I don't really like the most recent prodigy tracks. The better stuff was from the jilted generation and fat of the land imo.

Have any of you got london elektricity live from scala? I would love to get my hands on that. Just it being an import the price skyrockets.

this is the best site i've found for Oldskool rave/hardcore etc-

http://hardcorewillneverdie.com/

you go to the "mixes" & select which year/dj/event you want to listen to then just sit back & enjoy a trip down memory lane :)

1992, DJ Sy @ Red October has some awesome scratch/mixing in it ;)

racingdwarf 18-01-2008 07:02 PM
