Has anyone got a gear puller?
 

Has anyone at club got a gear puller they could bring along for me to use friday please?
Reason is i'm doing a ratio conversion on one of my RC10's gearbox and need to pull the gear off the topshaft and replace it with another.
If any one could help it would be much appreciated :thumbsup:

hi phil, the gear sits on a taper so just wam it up and it should fall off.

Cheers Brian didnt realise! will get the blow torch on it in work and see how it goes :thumbsup:

try using boiling water,the gear only needs to expand slightly.
