Rear tyre inserts, to narrow for the rim?

Hi

I just got a set of U6653 Foam Tyre Insert; Hard - Rear - CAT
They seemed very narrow, they looked just like the 4wd front inserts. They did not fill the tyre correctly and did not cover up the rim (associated b44 rear rims)
Is it supposed to be this way or have schumacher mixed up some labeling?

Thanks

These are the old style inserts and yes, they are a bit narrow.

Schumacher now do them in wider sizes. I'm not up to date on the part numbers but the last time I bought the "medium" rears they were the correct size.

You want to have the ultra wide rears U6669 use the standard rears in front and you have the right combination.

Thanks guy's!

Did the part number change or did they just make U6653 wider?

Or did Schumacher just start making ultra wide rear U6669 and no change to the U6653? A bit confused..

Last time I bought Schumacher Medium inserts, they were a light blue colour, and did look a little wider. The foam also seemed a much nicer material (more like the answer rc foam).

Hope this helps
