http://www.ukrcc.org/27mhz.html

Although the band numbers on that list are different to what most radios come with, normally it is 1-6 for the solids (brown/1 to blue/6)

27mhz??????

Come on mr pidge, you don't stil run 27mhz do you?

I thought you would be up on the 2.4ghz stuff.:)

Lee Martin 16-01-2008 09:06 AM

2.4 ghz is RUBBISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

27 all the way!

MattW 16-01-2008 11:05 AM

Yup, 27 is where it's at in 2008!! None of this new tech rubbish

ben 16-01-2008 11:47 AM

Do you run 27 mhz because nearly everyone has moved to 40mhz or 2.4? so their is less chance of getting interference?

27, is faster ben, especially in 4wd on uk tracks:o:D

ben 16-01-2008 11:55 AM

Any reason for this. Or is it just cos lee won the national series?:D

lil ben

Lee Martin 16-01-2008 12:11 PM

27's are less likely for interferance due to the nature of the band.

i dont like 2.4, have not used the most recent stuff but im not keen. always felt notchy!

telboy 16-01-2008 05:28 PM

The new stuff is MUUUUCH better than the old ones.:)

I had one of the older ones and it was well duff. but the new ones are much better. I can't tell much difference.........

....could be the solvents though!:D

super__dan 16-01-2008 05:43 PM

I'm on the pro version and can't tell any difference whatsoever, oh except for all the range of benefits of 27mhz.

Lee Martin 17-01-2008 10:53 AM

well im very happy on 27mhz, lol....

if it works........

josh_smaxx 17-01-2008 05:13 PM

So you dont have any glitching problems when using high powered BL systems? or can you get 27 on FM. When i ran 27mhz with my first BL system it glitched like mad.

Lee Martin 18-01-2008 09:25 AM

not had a glitch.

touch wood.

alot of people use 27mhz.

tricky, truman, cragg, bradders

mole2k 18-01-2008 09:44 AM

I know a friend of mine had glitching issues when he switched to BL. He switched to 40mhz fm then. Quite a few people at my club still run 27mz with BL without any issues.
