SX3 gearing
 

I am interested to what gearing people recommend with the SX3. I run mainly indoors on a tight and twisty track. At the moment I am running the standard 83 spur gear and a 20 tooth pinion with a 6.5 motor. Does this sound about right?

its depends on a few more things than you have listed, IE speedo, motor make, timing etc, track straight length, as i have said before try to get it geared so the car hits flat out speed at about 75% length of the longest straight,and keep a eye on the heat
18 -20 to start as long as its not to small should be OK,
