Cougar SV Long chassie with saddle lipo

Anyone running like this, how are the cells held in with this setup

The long topdeck holds them a bit. I've dremelled the plastic piece at the back where the pin goes through to clear the cells and maybe a little battery tape to hold the cells(temporary!). My lipos have the locaters on the bottom so are fine and secure. It wasn't as tricky as I thought.

Does it look ugly running the 2 mid posts just for battery support?

If you use the proper Cougar saddle mount it fits them perfectly. Looks fine. Pics to follow.

Hi rickrick, the long chassis and saddle Lipo is a good option for the car especially on dirt loose tracks!
You need the lipo craddle ref U3764 and the correct alloy posts ref U3702.
Here's a pic with fitted lipo.
