gearing for long track
 
Hi,have put a 9.5 ocra motor and speedo with lrp5300 lipos in my sons x6 sq just not shore on the gearing i have a 74 and76 spurs the track i race at has a long strainght.In my x6sq i am running a 7.5 with a 76/28 any help will be great

I normally go 2 teeth a wind but that's between 6.5 and 8.5, 78/76 is a lot higher than I run but if that works for you I'd start on a 30 and go from there. Always keep checking motor temps as that's a good indicator for gearing.
