It looks like yellow is the centre. black is near the negative and red is near the positive which would make sense really

I always thought that sensorless didnt matter the connections. Just change two wires if car goes back instead of forward.

Was soooo much easier with two wires!!! What the hell does the 3rd wire do anyway?. We have a pos and a neg, so whats the third, and if it doesnt matter what way they go, what do they do?

I have the manuAl from associated website and it says exactly as above, if car runs backwards, reverse any two of the wires.

I guess if you installed them A-C-B swapping any two would change the sequence to A-B-C
1st two C-A-B-C etc
2nd two A-B-C etc
Outer two B-C-A-B-C etc

If that sort of makes sense. It does in my brain, sorry

ETA I don't own an RTR but doing research into getting one for my 6yo, i found the manuals and saved it

I have a RTR B4.1 and have done this several times. It really is as simple as switching two of the wires around. Don't worry yourself on why, that will just make your head sore.
