Losi Shocks - Not big bores
 

Is anyone running the older losi shocks on their durango. If yes how do you find it and any pointers for springs, pistons and shock oil?

i run them on mine atm. currently running front black pistons, black springs 35wt with the thread wound in. and the rear, red pistons, red springs, 30wt. found the car amazing at kiddy at the weekend, the best its driven for a while. not on edge and really smooth 2 drive

I have set mine up with
Front - Blue springs, orange pistons and 35 oil
Rear - Pink Springs, Blue pistons and 30 oil
Sounds like they may be a little soft, but just took them off my xx4.
I am racing on an astro track that is a little bumpy so will report back with results. Might have to try your setup too :)

yer i tried to convert a setup from the durango shocks, then went abit harder to tame the car abit.

Well thought i should give an update Mike. Didn't go well to be honest, ended up putting the Durango shocks back on.

Main problem i think was that the car was a little soft with Blue and orange pistons, also under braking it was nose diving quite a lot. Also noticed the back seemed quite bouncy. not sure whether to try your settings or stick with the durango shocks. Looking at my times i was up to half a second faster with the losi shocks, but just couldn't find consistency.

If i do try again i think i would go

Front - Black Springs, red pistons & 40 wt oild
Rear - Orange pistons & 30 wt oil. Not sure what spring though to stop the rear boucing so much?
