Hello all new to the site!

Hey all just wanted to drop a line and say whats up. My name is Chris I am 24 and I just moved to the UK last month. I used to own a RC10T4 not really sure of the specs of it now since I have been out of the scene for so long. I am looking at either 1. getting my old truck back or 2. Getting a used one and starting over and building stadium truck from the ground up. I would also like to get my 4 year old son into the sport, I believe that he would have a blast. Like I said above im coming back into the scene and would like to start racing and was wondering if anyone knows of some off road tracks around the Huntingdon area. I also don't know if you have a newbie thread so I just posted this here, sorry if its not the right spot. Well im done rambling so thanks ahead of time and im looking forward to possibly seeing some people on the track! LATER!

Just got my 4 year old a Tamiya Lunchbox to start out with in the world of rc
He thinks it's the greatest thing in the world, cool car to start out with, looks good as a scooby doo or A-team van, it's pretty strong & cheap enough to fix if he does crash it & some of the new kits come with a electric speed controller included, i stuck a 5000mah battery in it & he gets about 40 minutes run time!!!
Bit better than the 5 minutes run time i used to get in the 80's :)
As for tracks near to you, try this list

Stotfold model car club is about 20 miles from you. They run on a Sunday afternoon all year round and Wednesday night in the summer.

Come down and take a look.

If you're planning to race don't buy anything until you're sure it can be run at the local club.
No point in having a truck if they only race buggy's

ok cool, ill do some searching around, i mainly want to stay trucks but if there is only buggys around i might just have to stick with them

There aren't many places that have a good following of trucks these days. It's mainly 2 and 4wd buggies at stotfold.
