supertech
on supertech come on be honest it looks cool
5 cell
but i dont get this why is the chassis 5 cell why not 6 cell
I don't believe its Tamiya.
well the car is made by some guys in Finland - not Tamiya. It does look very cool, though I'm not sure if they are tried it again yet (which is a shame if so)
maybe with it being mid motor, it will have less drive and therefore more power is a hinderance:confused:
Who knows, it looks nice though, but i wonder how it will fly with cells down one side |
5 cells can be commonly used for dirt...just makes the power smoooother...these guys obviously like that feel and therefore made the car around it...means you can run faster motors but smooooooooooothly....
Either that or the guys usually race touring cars and use 5 cells for that ! :D
Maybe they will show something at Nurnberg fair??

trf tamiya 2wd drive buggy
Actually tamiya have created a 2wd drive version of their basic DT-02, they call it the dt-02 ms, this is actually on sale now:

Yes but thats just a tamiya, its not a TRF so its not really good enough to race at all.
I'm sure its a good fun car, a guy at work just bought the standard car for his son and it seems like a decent fun chassis. Very far from a real 2WD racer attempt. I do really hope they made a 2WD though.
